Autumn Yarn Club Reveal! I loved putting this set together, the palette really reflects the season in a way I can only describe as ‘Autumnal’. The set contains 5 20g skeins of my woolen-spun Shetland-Romney lambswool from @fernhillfibre – with 3 skeins on the white base and two on the grey. I like to keep some of the grey yarn undyed to really show off the natural tones of the yarn. They have been naturally dyed by me using a combination of homegrown and acquired plants. From left to right, here’s what dyes I used, and where they came from: Rhubarb root from a plant we split at the allotment Marigolds from my garden (still flowering in November!) Madder root bundle dye grown by Mum @ruthmurphygardens Madder root grown by Mum (I reused the roots from the bundle dye!) Red onion skins which were food waste from the catering at the @estateoftheartsbristol Winter Fairs The Seasonal Colour Yarn Club - Winter 21/22 - 5 x 20g Mini Skein Set - Pre-Order Winter club is open for with a few spaces left – spaces close on Monday 14th February and will ship the week commencing the 21st.
